Vasse Felix produces fine Margaret River reds with great balance and style. This traditional blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon shows sweet mid-palate fruit with liquorice and spice and good tannin structure. Hand Picked- Matured for 18 months in French oak (50%new). Brilliant crinmson-purple; a very complex wine on the bouquet and medium to full-bodied palate alike; the new oak certainly plays role, but it's the spice black fruit and fine tannins that build the perfect platform for a wine with avery long future.

Still very youthful, the quality French oak riding high in the saddle. This is a wine of excellent quality, ticking every box. Its texture and balance are admirable, the varietal character likewise.

Aroma - The wine opens with lifted spice and pepper with a dusty floral fragrance. There are ripe fruit characters of plum and mulberry with savoury oak.
