Penfolds Shiraz Mataro

Penfolds Bin 2 Shiraz Mataro (also known as Mourvèdre) has a history going back to 1960 when Penfolds made a traditional "Burgundy" style. Penfolds have always loved Mataro (Mourvèdre) for its fantastic ability to blend marvelously with traditional South Australian stalwarts like Shiraz. Adding luscious complexity and palate grip, the Bin 2 is aged in older oak to emphasise the spicy savouriness of Mataro (Mourvèdre) that complements the plush richness of Shiraz.

Devitt & Moore 'Captain D Bruce' Shiraz

Sedosa Hills Shiraz Signature Collection

A fantastic 2018 Shiraz from the Barossa Valley, made from 50 year old vines, Thomas white's best signature collection. Basket pressed and aged in seasoned French oak. The fragrant bouquet shows blackberry, mulberry, vanilla oak and cake spice aromas, followed by a wonderfully weighted palate that's plump and flavoursome.

Twin Oaks Barossa Valley Reserve Shiraz

The Twin Oaks Barossa Reserve Shiraz is a selection of 2 outstanding vineyards providing aromas of dark berries and herbs with a hint of spice. The palate carries the themes and is full and delicious with mouth watering acidity keeping a lovely balance. "A magnificent rendition of the variety; the hugely complex bouquet shows dark fruit intensity with seductive notes of dark chocolate, dried flower, clove and cedar. It's immensely powerful and lavish with multi-layered mouthfeel and loads of delectable flavours, while remaining balanced and structured. Hugely gratifying. At its best: now to 2037. Nov 2020." Blue Rock Wines Reserve Black Velvet Shiraz

Reserve Black Velvet Shiraz 2015 This is a perfect blend of red and white grape varieties developed in the Cotes du Rhone district in Southern France. It is made possible due to both varieties maturing at the same time. They are crushed and fermented together to merge the flavours of these two noble varieties. Usually 3-5% Viognier is ample to introduce the floral aromas and contribute to the wines softness in the mouth. This wine has retained the Shiraz characters of cherry and raspberry with Viognier adding the floral aromas and slipperiness in the mouth.

Lights Valley Barossa Valley Shiraz

Lights Valley wines commemorate Colonel William Light and his discovery and naming of Barossa Valley in 1837. Barossa Valley was named in memory of the British victory over the French in the Battle of Barrosa in 1811. However, due to clerical error the valley was misspelt Barossa. Tasting Notes: This full-bodied Shiraz features notes of blackberry, blueberry, cake spice, cocoa and hazelnut and is impressive and satisfying on the palette.
