Triple maturation is the secret behind the award-winning taste of Whyte & Mackay. Firstly, the finest single malt whiskies, each individually matured for many years, are carefully selected by our Master Blender. Next, they are combined in sherry casks and matured once again to attain a perfect harmony of flavours. Finally, the blended malts are mixed with aged grain whiskies and returned to cask to mature even further. This dedication to the art of blending creates an extra smooth and richer tasting whisky. Whyte and Mackay can trace its roots back to 1844 in Glasgow. And if time has taught us anything, it's how to perfect our consistently smooth and rich tasting whisky. The 20CL taster bottle of our 2019 Release Single Malt comes beautifully packaged in a presentation box, illustrated with the art piece, titled ' St Andrews' by Hilke MacIntyre. Hilke is a specialist in linocutting: a traditional and highly skilled craft, derived from woodcutting: the oldest printmaking technique. Woodcutting has been the inspiration behind all Eden Mill illustrations in our branding, so Hilke’s unique style and process was a perfect fit for our 2019 Release. Her work aligns perfectly with Eden Mill's traditional yet experimental principles. Eden Mill Head Distiller, Scott Ferguson has incorporated a selection of oloroso hogsheads, pedro ximenez hogsheads, american bourbon barrels, with a cask of chocolate malt spirit and crystal malt spirit to craft our latest Single Malt. 46.5% ABV.

Dressed in a green jacket reminiscent of the Masters Champions, inspired by Scottish Golf courses and in homage to the spirit of golf in St. Andrews, Eden Mills Golf Gin was created in 2018 for golfers to enjoy all over the country. This botanically rich spirit incorporates botanicals from local grassland and coastal courses around Scotland which gives the gin a unique juniper and floral flavour. To ensure Golf Gin was truly representative of local golf courses, the team of distillers at Eden Mill sourced botanicals such as Seaweed from St. Andrews Links and Gorse Flower from Braids in Edinburgh to name a few, making this Gin every golfers G & Tee of choice.
