Distinctive fragrance - Old fashioned red roses, lavender, deep cherry. Earthy, complex big red with dark fruit (plum, black cherry) ripe, abundant tannin (due to its very thick skin, great for the antioxidant lovers!) Handpicked, crushed without rollers to keep berries intact. Cold soaked for 5 days, then fermented. Left on skins to soften the tannins for 3 months. We like to think we have a unique approach to wine. It's built around the idea of demystifying the often over-complicated approach that traditional wine brands take. We're developing premium quality products, delivered at an attainable price point and presented in a way that makes them accessible to a new generation of wine drinkers. Cake lives within the context of creative culture (music, art, design, film, photography, ideas), a culture that is integral to drinking and enjoying good wine.
Save Our Souls Sagrantino
This wine is fun… spicy nose of anise and dark berries. The palate has dark plums and cherries with a juicy centre. A back palate of crushed cherries linger.

Lou Miranda Estate Sagrantino, the fourth vintage from our Estate grown vineyard in the historical Barossa Valley, showcases the potential for Italian varieties to be grown in the region. With its lifted bouquet of red fruits and hints of plum the earthy depth of this wine is impressive. The palate has exquisite natural tannin, which accentuates all the complex Sagrantino character.

Angullong Fossil Hill Sagrantino
Angullong Fossil Hill Sagrantino was matured in a mix of seasoned and new French oak barrels. This red wine showcases an impenetrable plum purple colour. It emanates diverse aromas of dark fruits, liquorice, herbs, earth and leather from its fragrant bouquet. This bold Sagrantino is full-flavoured on the palate, showing dark fruits and herbs with authoritative tannins. These flavours will evolve with up to 9 years of careful cellaring from vintage. Serve this marvellous red wine with Pecorino cheese, cast-iron steak, or a black truffle preparation.
