S.R.S. stands for Sub Regional Series. Carefully selected individual grape varieties that excel within a certain sub-region. These wines represent the very best varietal wines under the Flametree label and will only be made in the best vintages, volumes will be small and availability very limited. Exceptional in quality, complexity and finesse. It shows all the perfume and structure that make Wilyabrup Cabernet Sauvignon wines so famous. Lifted blackberries, mulberry, plums, earth and dark chocolate dominate the nose and palate at this early stage. Whilst showing plenty of inky dark fruits, violets and bitter chocolate. The palate also displays wonderful fruit and oak tannin, the result of 16 months oak maturation.

This Cabernet Sauvignon embodies the classic regional style of Margaret River. It showcases plums, black currant, fresh berries, bramble, spice, green notes, cedar, milk chocolate, charry notes, and floral nuances. Houghton Gladstones Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful example of well established wineries in the Western Australian wine scene with access to some amazing vineyards sites within the Margaret River. On show here are marvelous aromas and flavours of bay leaf, black tea and some spicy mocha notes. Excitingly dense on palate with harmonious oak balance and impressive acidity. A brilliant wine.

Moss Wood are not know for their Pinot Noir, however this is a fine a unique expression of region and variety. A fruit bomb of rich and integrated flavours of cherry, spice, charry oak and silky finesse on the finish. The flavours pop and linger in the mouth long after the wine has left it.

Deep purple red colour, the nose is aromatic and lifted with a briar-like quality. The palate is structured and tight but with no meanness or austerity. There is great length of flavour with a nice structured finish and a spade of good natural grape tannins.

Being attuned with the vineyard – its cycles, its idiosyncrasies, its aspect and of course its full terroir profile. Enjoy lifted aromatics of forest fruits, plum, mint, dark chocolate and tobacco. On the palate, blackberry and mint, some savoury dry herb notes and layers of mocha and spice from oak maturation. The structure is medium to full bodied with fine tannins and great length. An elegant style with great varietal and regional character.

The Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is made from the finest parcels of fruit, hand-selected from the four blocks of cabernet sauvignon on our estate. The lushness of the mouthfeel and the depth of flavour is testament to the terroir of the site in the acclaimed sub-region of Wilyabrup.
