Coldstream Hills was established in 1985 by James and Suzanne Halliday and has since grown to become one of Australia's leading and most awarded small wineries. With it's fruit sourced from cool climate Tasmanian vineyards, the wine has notes of fragrant apple blossom with ripe fruits of yellow peach and mandarin, augmented with hints of five spice. The palate is textural and generous in style, delivering ripe stone fruit and cumquat flavours held in balance by fine phenolics due to the seasoned oak maturation, that lengthen and drive the palate.

This Pinot Gris is a fresh and uniformly very dry wine. It lends itself therefore as an ideal accompaniment to the lighter yet finer dishes served nowadays. Its hearty and lively yet distinctively fruity aroma of tropical fruit, acacia blossoms, caramel and wildflowers will make wine-lovers swoon. Oyster Bay 2014 Pinot Gris offers a palate of elegant, aromatic and refreshing flavours. A lightly scented floral flavour mixed with a hint of zesty lime provides for an exciting new taste. The 2014 Pinot Gris is described as being elegant and refreshing with honeysuckle and a touch of spice. Hints of soft pear, with a crisp apple make this wine very fresh.

Te Tera Pinot Gris has lifted aromatic characters of ripe pear and spice together with ginger and floral notes in the background. On the palate the textural elements come to the fore, imparting pithy rich fruit that is beautifully balanced against a small amount of residual sugar. The result is a luscious, utterly drinkable, soft style Pinot Gris.

This Pinot Gris from 6ft6 exhibits classic varietal characters of pear, honey suckle, apple and lime. The palate offers balanced delicate fruit with a cleansing finish. It is ideal when partnered with seafood and summer salads.

The fruit was entirely hand-harvested and allowed 6 hours skin contact in the press before fermentation was carried out at cool temperatures to maximise fruit expression. This wine shows all the hallmarks of easy-going, classic Italian Pinot Grigio; subtle grapefruit and underlying floral and spice notes on the nose followed by citrus and peach flavours bound together by a tight minerality.

Sourced from a single vineyard site in the Strathbogie Ranges, ideally suited to growing aromatic and balanced Pinot Gris. The cool nights here allow the fruit to reach optimum ripeness whilst retaining an elegant balance between flavour, alcohol and acidity. This wine by Pacha Mama underwent lees stirring while in barrel, resulting in a buttery richness and complexity that sets the pinot gris style apart from the tighter, more acidic Pinot Grigio. Rich and inviting nose with white musk, fresh quince and honeysuckle. A generous and textural palate, with flavours of crýme brulee, lemon zest and musk, balanced by refreshing acidity and a satisfying, clean finish.

This is a very fine Gris. Its elegant nose shows hints of citrus, grapefruit, musk and apricot while on the palate the wine is structured and remarkably tight with mineral characteristics supporting rich, tropical fruit. The acid is very fresh and the length impeccable.
