Mount Mary Quintet
Australia's premier cool climate Cabernet. It was John Middleton's dream to create such a wine and purchased the Mount Mary property in the Yarra Valley in 1971 to persue this dream. Quintet is his dream realised and is a blend of the classic Bordeaux varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
Oakdene Wines Bellarine Peninsula Shiraz
Deep crimson purple. Bright lifted savoury bouquet of, spicy black fruits and pepper. The palate juicy and fresh with red, purple and black fruits with cool-grown pepper and spice. Coldstream Guard Shiraz Yarra Valley
This cool-climate expression of Shiraz is the beneficiary of the philosophy, methodology and stylistic approach applied to its more senior stablemates. The aim for this blend was to achieve a balance of weight, immediacy, generosity and drinkability with subtle restraint. Enticing aromas of red berries, white pepper, Russian Caravan tea, porcini mushroom broth, musk stick, nutmeg, fennel, peat & herbal mutterings of stalks. The juicy palate evokes a red dark fruit balance redolent of red cherry & mulberry with a spice influence of sumac & tamarind paste. Dark chocolate and smoked paprika flavours combine to elongate the detailed palate. A fine acidity draws the palate long with talc-like tannins inlaid, building fruit weight to a resonant finish. Suitable for vegans.

Yep, this is rose you can really enjoy.' - 93/100 - West Australian, 15 May 2014, by Ray Jordan.

The Pinot Noir is packed full of black cherry and cedary notes with a perfect balance of soft, but fine grained tannin.
Giant Steps Harry's Monster
Oakridge 864 Cabernet Sauvignon
While mainly known for his extraordinary Chardonnay, Dave Bicknell's Cabernet's continue to fly under the radar of most when thinking of Victoria's greatest cool-climate red wines. This is great for those who wish to keep this little secret a secret for a while longer, but rest assured word will get out as the purity and power of this 864 Cab is something to behold. Minimal, but expert techniques are employed to deliver a Cabernet that is built for the long haul, yet is wonderfully enjoyable in its youth.
