Van Winkle Special Reserve 12 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey is the perfect combination between proof and age. This full-bodied, sweet whisky has been described by some as “nectar.” The medium proof and 12 years of aging seem to be just right in creating a very pleasant drink of whisky. This whisky is a beautiful amber-orange colour. The nose has aromas of luscious, complex toffee. The palate begins round and supple, leading to a dry, expansive, medium body. There are flavours of brown spices, caramel, and nuts. It’s an outrageously smooth and decadent bourbon.

Suntory artisans perfect this harmonious blend to create a full symphony of delicate flavours and blossoming aromas.The HIBIKI bottle is embellished with 24 facets. Each facet symbolises the traditional Japanese lunar calendar celebrating the 24 hours within the 24 seasons of the year. The label is made from pure Echizen Washi, a traditional Japanese paper, designed by the artist Eriko Horiki. Each washi is carefully handcrafted using authentic materials and traditional Japanese methods. The "HIBIKI" kanji was written by the renowned calligrapher Tansetsu Ogino, accentuating the elegance of the washi.This Suntory Whisky "HIBIKI 21 year" has Mt. Ardbeg 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
The newest, oldest whisky to join Ardbeg's core range is an impressively packaged 25 year old, an age statement not seen since the 'Lord of the Isles' bottlings over a decade ago. It's also the oldest permanent addition to the brand, distilled in the 1990s, and available in limited quantities due to its age and rarity. Readers should note that very little whisky was produced at the distillery in the middle '90s. Ardbeg’s production halted in 1981, then resumed in 1989 under Hiram Walker but remained at a low level until late 1996. Most Ardbeg enthusiasts will have tasted little from this distillery's 'quiet period'. Hence, this first edition represents a genuine slice of Islay history. Dr Bill Lumsden, Ardbeg’s chief whisky creator, comments: “After a quarter of a century in the cask, you’d be forgiven for imagining that Ardbeg 25 Years Old would have lost some of the hallmark smoky punch. I can assure you it hasn’t.... And yet there’s also a remarkable complexity and elegance to this whisky that I find utterly captivating. It’s unmistakably Ardbeg, but unlike any Ardbeg you’ve tasted before.” Strikingly presented in a gun metal coloured bottle, Ardbeg 25 comes housed in a case featuring a modern metallic take on the classic Ardbeg knotwork, symbolic of the untamed complexity of this extraordinary whisky. Notes from Ardbeg... smoked cream, peppermint, toffee, fennel and pine resin on the nose, leading to a ‘vibrant, hot peppery mouthfeel’ with flavours of sherbet lemon, carbolic soap and tar, creamy toffee, aniseed and chilli pepper. The Bruichladdich Thirty has spent the entirety of its maturation life in handpicked, exceptionally rare ex-Bourbon casks. A limited and refined single malt Scotch whisky, The Bruichladdich Thirty is bottled at 43% bringing the sweetness of toasted oak, honey and soft vanilla to the fore. Delicate yet complex, a hint of dark chocolate complements the spirit’s elegant floral profile while the gentle influence of sea air lingers – a subtle nod to the whisky’s all Islay maturation. Maker: Unlike its neighbouring distilleries from the island of Islay, the Bruichladdich range is made without peat. Without the influence of smoke, the intention is to expose the brilliance of their raw ingredient – barley. Stepping further outside of whisky tradition, Bruichladdich traces ingredients from origin to bottling, embracing every growing season, the subtlety of changing barley varietals and the methods applied in growing them. Patient and purposeful in the distilling process; there's a slow fermentation in wooden washbacks stage, trickle distillation through tall, narrow necked stills before filling this 100% Scottish barley distilled spirit into an ever-evolving suite of top quality casks. All drams are bottled unchill-filtered and without colouring and using only Islay spring water. Chateau Lafite Rothchild
Chateau Lafite Rothschild is one of the most renowned properties in the Médoc. Owned by Baron Eric de Rothschild and located in the north of the Pauillac appellation, Lafite Rothschild is also one of the largest Médoc estates. It has 95 hectares of vineyards planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (20%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). Lafite Rothschild's vineyards lie on deep gravel beds (up to 5 metres thick) over marl and limestone.
