The Honeybomb Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a punchy and textural expression of a Margaret River SSB. The Houghton Maragaret River Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is bright straw appearance with tropical aromatics of passionfruit, gooseberry and guava. The palate is fresh with vibrant lemon and lime citrus notes. Light lees adds weight and texture to the palate. Well worth seeking out.

A slightly more serious style showing clean and focused characters of citrus, nettles, dried herbs and flint, with a touch of smoke adding complexity from partial barrel fermentation in one year old oak barriques. The palate has a fuller style that has great texture and freshness with dried herbs and citrus at the forefront. The wine finishes long and clean with lingering herbaceous characters and mineral acidity.

The Hidden Cave range from Devil's Lair is the chance for the winemakers at this iconic Margaret River winery to express the daring and exciting edge to the regions wines. Their Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a racy little aromatic white with exotic aromas of crushed basil and lychee that are followed by flavours of gooseberry, mango and passionfruit. All capped off with some lime zest on the finish to complete this supreme crisp dry white wine.

This Margaret River Sauvignon from the "formidable partnership" (Halliday) of Byron & Harold is "an intriguing mix of the herbal and tropical..."(WinePilot) and "fabulously aromatic..." with "terrific fruit intensity" (Wine Orbit). The fruit here is a combination from two vineyards, one in the north of the Margaret River region and the other close to Augusta in the south.
