Yabby Lake Vineyard Single Vineyard, Pinot Gris, Mornington Peninsula Hailing from the Tuerong region of Mornington Peninsula, this Pinot Gris is a pure single-vineyard wine that reflects the terroir. While Tom Carsons adds some winemaking techniques to give texture to the fresh cool-climate Gris. The fruit is hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed prior to being wild fermented half on steel and half on old French 500L puncheons.

Coldstream Hills was established in 1985 by James and Suzanne Halliday and has always produced a benchmark cool-climate Pinot Noir. This beautifully textured wine boasts rich flavours of dark cherries, pepper and foresty notes, with a long and toasty finish.

A benchmark chardonnay from master wine-maker Rob Dolan out of the Yarra Valley. Packed full of grapefruit, white peach, cashew & nutmeg aromas brimming from the glass followed by a mineral consistency on the palate with extended length on the finish. This is a typical cool climate Yarra Valley Pinot Noir with aromas of cherries and summer berries and hints of spice and oak. The palate is bright with red fruits and soft tannin. This is a versatile wine that will match well with many foods; try it with a charcuterie platter, pizza/pasta and porcini mushrooms or barbecued meats.

Picked from a block of gris on the Napoleone Vineyard in the Yarra Valley which is nurtured to hang a touch longer, with better tannin maturity than the fruit picked for the Punt Road Pinot Gris. Whole berry and whole bunch ferments are conducted in isolation in one-tonne open pots. They were pressed separately to oak this year, but in the end both went in their entirety into the blend. The bunch ferments developed a very significant funk this year, and it was good to see this in the finished wine. The berry ferments supply musk flavour and fruit sweetness. Its all about the bunch though: Campari, aniseed and kombucha. Unfined and minimally filtered. The perfect companion in Spring or Summer.

This wine has been harvested early to produce a softly perfumed textured wine. This medium bodied Pinot Grigio is quite distinguished with its aromas and flavours of pear leaving a crisp but not overpowering finish to the palate.
