This premium Rosé has been produced entirely from cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in two Canberra District vineyards. Vibrantly coloured, the wine has enticing aromas of cherry, mulberry and spice. The palate features a delicate balance of flavour, acidity, and fine tannin.

This rose was made from low yielding Shiraz grapes picked in April using the traditional Saignee style. The wine was fermented to dryness and has light berry flavours and crisp acidity.

The name of this wine, STUDIO by Miraval, was not chosen by chance. In 1977, jazz musician Jacques Loussier, the owner of the estate at the time, had a recording studio built there, and hosted international artists of the calibre of Pink Floyd, The Cure, Muse, AC/DC, Wham, Sting, The Cranberries, Rammstein, Chris Rea, and French artists such as Indochine, Telephone, and Bashung. Studio Rosé is a pale pink colour with great clarity. The nose is an explosion of freshness with notes of citrus and fresh fruit. Its elegant palate offers refresing acidity with floral and iodized notes supported by grapefruit zest on the finish.

Domaine de la Rouvière Côtes de Provence Rosé is based on a blend of cinsault, grenache and syrah and derives from vineyards around Pierrefeu du Var, about 30 kilometres from Toulon and about an hours drive from St Tropez. The rocky landscape dominated by the Massif de Maure is typically undulating with pine forests and a large expanse of vineyards; many on south facing slopes. The warm Mediterranean growing season followed by night harvesting lead to optimum fruit ripeness and retention of acidity. Cool-vinification preserves fruitiness, freshness and transparency.
