Adnams Single Malt vodka is distilled from East Anglian malted barley. Adnams Masterbrewer, Fergus Fitzgerald, makes a beer 'wash' which is fermented without the addition of hops. Our head distiller, John McCarthy, then takes this beer and puts it through a 'beer stripping' column, copper pot stills and finally rectification columns which concentrate and purify to create a clean, pure spirit. The unfiltered result is a beautifully smooth vodka, with natural sweetness from our locally-grown barley, and plenty of character from our hand-made copper pot still. Serve classically with ice, tonic and a slice of lemon, or with tomato juice, ice, celery and spice.

A smooth, blended Irish whiskey with a complexity created by triple cask maturing in virgin and seasoned American oak as well as ex-Oloroso sherry casks. Robust nose with pronounced oak spice, rich dried fruity notes, butterscotch, earthy spices and vanilla. With time it develops in dryness and becomes slightly more savoury. Dry finish, earthy spices, and a hint of sweetness. Their signature process involves three types of casks: virgin casks add flavours of toasted oak and vanilla, Tennessee whiskey and bourbon casks add flavours of caramel, banana and butterscotch, and sherry casks add flavours of raisin and spice. Carefully selected unprocessed whiskies and pure, natural spring water are expertly blended to create this distinctive whisky. A gift from the land that surrounds Mt. Fuji, home to the finest natural spring water. Tasting Notes: Clear amber, faint smoky accent with sweet aroma, redolent of pear and dried fruit. The palate is slightly edgy attack, but well-rounded and mellow. Finish is slightly spicy. A long finish with a hint of white oak and a spreading sweetness.

On the pallet a fascinating blend of Applewood smoke, honey and all spice are married with stewed pears and fresh grilled pineapple. Produced at the famed Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Three Swallow is crafted from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, then triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills before being matured in 2nd and 3rd fill Bourbon barrels. Finally, it receives a finishing in aged sherry casks. It is intended as a modern representation of what the original Powers tasted like back in the days of John’s Lane distillery. But to confuse matters slightly, it's been released at two different ABVs: 43.2% and this one which lands at 40%. Non chill filtered.
