Heartland Single Vineyard Shiraz

One of only two single vineyard wines ever made by Heartland. The quality of the 2015 was too good to ignore, hence this small volume wine was created.Deep red to black. Spiced currant, leather, crushed leaf and cedar oak. Very fresh for its age, with a beautiful texture, plush mouthfeel, lovely secondary complexity, a still-primary dark fruit core, and notes of chocolate and liquorice to finish.

Grenache Shiraz

This Grenache Shiraz is the perfect blend creating a medium to full-bodied plush palate. Displaying bright & vibrant red fruit characters with hints of spice.

Haselgrove Wines Dileab Shiraz, McLaren Vale

Ivyburn Aldersey Shiraz

This is a smart wine. It feels very harmonious, there's fruit intensity but it's not *too* fruity, there's present oak but it's not *too* overpowering, there's spice and tannin but they're not *too* drying. Everything has been worked into this classy number in thoughtful moderation and the result is a wine greater than the sum of its parts. From the well known, hand-tended, vineyards of the Willunga sub-region of McLaren Vale, picked in the (widely lorded) year of 2021 - it's safe to say we were holding this one to a pretty high standard. Well, this wine exceeded even our lofty expectations. Juicy dark mulberry and black cherry, vibrant spiced plum and chocolate characters are expressed with both intensity and complexity. Subtle, but ever present, oak characters manifest themselves in slight chocolate and vanilla notes along with fine grained tannins and build to a silky, spice driven finish. Happy to sit in the cellar for 15+ years, but why delay happiness right?

Zonte's Footstep Z Force Shiraz

Very dark, vibrant, purple with a dense crimson hue. Pepper/spice on the nose with macerated berries and a hint of pink grapefruit. Plum pudding and Christmas spices. Rich and soft entry with fragrant red fruits, some fresh tarragon and clear cedar characters complemented by dark cacao. Juicy macerated blackberries, tempered with the soft idiosyncratic milky McLaren Vale Shiraz sweetness and roundness and spike of red citrus and cranberry notes. Lush mouth filling after palate with rolling soft,

Lloyd Brothers Reserve Shiraz

The 2022 Estate Shiraz is hand crafted from grapes grown on blocks 1, 9 and 10 of the Lloyd Brothers McLaren Vale Estate. Each parcel was selectively picked and fermented in small open fermenters, then basket pressed to new and seasoned French oak. After 14 months the best barrels were selected to create the Estate Shiraz. This wine shows lovely rich, ripe, dark berry fruit on the palate with overtones of mocha, spice, black pepper and liquorice. Approachable in its youth this wine will happily age for 10+ years.
