Mount Gay Eclipse Rum is widely recognised as the oldest rum in the world. Eclipse has a brilliant golden amber colour and a luxuriously complex aroma. Aged in charred, American oak barrels for a minimum of two years, producing a rum with flavours of apricot, banana and vanilla. The barrel ageing gives the Rum a lightly smoked character and a long lasting finish. Eclipse has a warm, medium body with a bright finish. These premium rums are then aged for a total of 6 years in oak vats until they reach their peak. Each BACARDI flavoured rum achieves the right balance between the smooth, dry rum & intense, invigorating fruit flavour.
