West Cape Howe's Sauvignon Blanc enjoyed a cool ripening season in WA's Great Southern region that has produced this lovely white with real intensity and varietal character. Fresh, lively aromas of are followed by a palate with zesty flavours and crisp acidity.

FLOWSTONE Moonmilk White Gewurztraminer Sauvignon Blanc Savagnin, Margaret River

A relative newcomer to Margaret River, Flametree have already hit several home runs. This wine is another hit, with a fresh mix of citrus and stonefruits, zingy acidity and clean finish.

Fragrant citrus blossom, with peach skin, pear, nougat and nutmeal give a complex and seductive entry. The palates fine citrus and stone fruits are deftly embellished with a cashew nut creaminess and a mineral savoury note, to add texture and drive. Fine grain French oak offers subtle support and the bright acidity, a fresh finish.

Forester Estate Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a clean, fruit driven wine style showing herbaceous, citrus and lifted floral characters distinct to Margaret River. The MadFish range by traditional Margaret River producer, Howard Park, is one of great value and regionality. This Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blend is a Western Australian staple with gooseberry flavours along with real citrus zest lift and a cleansing back palate. But it is the complexity in this wine that is truly remarkable and something that isn't often seen in this blend.

Forester Estate Sauvignon Blanc has clean aromas with underlying richness and varietal fruit characters of lychee and passionfruit. There's a subtle hint of blackcurrant along with lime and well integrated cedar oak. There is a herbaceous thread through the wine of pea shell and nettle along with underlying wood smoke. On the palate, full and textured with a rich creamy texture. There is lychee, lemon thyme, nettle, roasted red capsicum and passionfruit along with balanced cedar oak and wood smoke.

In the glass: Pale straw. On the nose: Lemon zest, gooseberry, passionfruit and nettle. On the palate: Citrussy entry followed by ripe tropical fruit and passionfruit, and racy acidity.

From a single block on our family owned vineyard based in the cool Great Southern, our flagship Ferngrove Cossack Riesling exudes fresh cut lime, pink grapefruit and zesty lemon with a long lasting minerality. Native to Australia's South West, the Cossack Spider-orchid is the common name for the endangered flora adorning the label.
