There is quite a rare balance in this Alpine Cider. In drier ciders, its easy to lose the intensity of the fruit. Thats not the case here. The crisp fruity pink lady is the hero of the show. It is as crisp as the mountain air and as clean as fresh snow. At the tail end, there is a gentle blast of a green apple acid hit.

Distilled in Melbourne by Brogan herself, Evening Light Gin is her fresh and fruity, easy drinking gin. Gentle and zesty, she like to think of it as new age Australian gin. Unique botanicals such as fresh mangos, fresh raspberries and organic white grapefruit juice form a fruity and unconventional backbone, complimented with sweet piney juniper and warm cassia. refreshing strawberry gum and river mint shine through. Hopsmith is a West Coast style IPA and all about the hops. Triple dry-hopped, the all American grown hop varieties are allowed to shine with citrus, pine, fruity notes and a nice dry, bitter finish.

Deep golden colour and a dense foam. Full nose of pine, apricot, citrus, grapefruit and light plum with a slight dank hop grassiness. Light malty in flavour. Strong hop flavours of pine, citrus, apricot and stone fruit. Strong but very smooth bitterness from front to end. Medium-light body with a dry smooth yet bitter finish, leaving you wanting for more. The hop cones were lured by the tunes of the Piper to give this IPA extra flavours.

Shiny pale straw with silver green hints. Poppy lemon skin, grilled grapefruit, melon and berry aromas mingle with toasted sweet nut scents. Crisp melon fruit drives through to the mineral acid finish. Spot on with a good fatty goats cheese like a demi-sec Grottin de Chavignol or Pouligny St-Pierre. It would be worth trying with fresh Coffin Bay Oysters. This wine will start to hit its stride after 6 months and mature well over the next 10 years.
