Lisa McGuigan Silver Pinot Grigio
Pale straw colour, the aroma is floral notes of ripe, delicious apples, pears, and spice. A rich medium-bodied fruit driven style with citrus blossom and musk characters palate. The Pinot Grigio fruit was sourced from cool climate Victoria, a perfect part of Australia for growing this variety. The wine, being an aromatic varietal, was released as one of the first whites to be seen from the vintage.

Australian native botanicals of strawberry gum, lilli pilli and river-mint give a gentle, sweet, berry like element and deliciously refreshing. Superb in a G&T, terrific in fruity cocktails and easy to drink with soda water.

Crisp melon fruit drives through to the mineral acid finish. Spot on with a good fatty goats cheese like a demi-sec Grottin de Chavignol or Pouligny St-Pierre. It would be worth trying with fresh Coffin Bay Oysters. This wine will start to hit its stride after 6 months and mature well over the next 10 years.

Mornington Peninsula Brewery XPA
Mornington XPA is a hoppy fruit bomb with a lean malt profile and packed with aromas of citrus and stonefruit followed by distinct flavours of lemon, pine and mango. This ale is surprisingly sessionable, mild in bitterness and bursting with hop character.
