Jacob's Creek Cool Harvest Sauvignon Blanc was harvested in the middle of the cool night to capture the freshest flavours and acidity of the Sauvignon Blanc fruit. Vintage conditions in 2011 were simply perfect for this style, with ample rain in the winter followed by long sunshine filled days during ripening. A wine with the pizzazz of a unicorn, but the serious expression of a rhino, this unoaked Chardonnay is full of fresh fruit flavours such as melon and peach. It has a crisp, clean finish.

Annie's Lane from South Australia's Clare Valley produce a Chardonnay that has toasty nutty oak flavours that perfectly complement the rich melon, baked fig varietal characters of the grape in this soft, full-flavoured Chardonnay.

Made in the traditional Italian style, fruit was sourced predominantly from the Del Rios vineyard in Victoria and gently pressed using airbag presses and the resulting free run juice was then chilled to 4 degrees and filtered before fermentation. Post fermentation the wine was cold stabilised and lightly fined before being cold filtered ready for bottling. Tropical fruit and pear flavours and hints of citrus provide a fresh, clean, crisp style with a medium bodied palate. A delicate aroma of pear and passionfruit with floral undertone.

This is a fresh, racy and very food friendly wine driven long by bracing acidity.
