First blended in 1829 in the small Irish town of Tullamore in County Offaly, Tullamore DEW takes its name from one of the earliest influencers of the newly established distillery, Daniel E Williams (DEW). It is still one of the most famous Irish whiskeys due to its light and elegant flavours that are best savoured over ice.

Nose: Apple drops, fresh citrus zest, creamy and luscious toffee undertones with banana, apricot, melon and creamy red raspberries. Palate: Sweet peach on the fore with pear and a bright fresh citrus zest. Malt undertone with creamy vanilla underneath Finish: Long and creamy with hints of pear and citrus zest remaining.

One of the most striking-looking new releases around, this bone-jangling, sepulchral, triple-distilled whiskey was once entombed in oloroso sherry butts. A nose of baked apple and sultana, rolled marzipan, sesame seeds, and roasted spices. Smooth tasting, with dark fleshy fruits, mixed peel, chocolate, walnut; the taut spicy middle section dies back to baked oranges. Finish includes dried fruit, lemon zest and oak spice delight the palate, before finishing with a woody and honeyed sweetness.

This Whiskey won the title of Best Blended Irish Whiskey for two consecutive years '20 & '21TASTING NOTESNose: This specially blended Irish Whiskey gives fresh citrus and piny herbal notes with subtle spices and dried fruits giving a lingering light fruit cake aroma.Palate: This offers warming spiced oak flavours with hints of green grape evolving to caramelised pear. As this Whiskey develops it gives hints of cocoa and dried fruit flavours, finishing with notes of stewed apple, custard & wood spice.

Produced at the famed Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Three Swallow is crafted from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, then triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills before being matured in 2nd and 3rd fill Bourbon barrels. Finally, it receives a finishing in aged sherry casks. It is intended as a modern representation of what the original Powers tasted like back in the days of John’s Lane distillery. But to confuse matters slightly, it's been released at two different ABVs: 43.2% and this one which lands at 40%. Non chill filtered.
