Cottontail Wines

This wine is an un-oaked blend, sourced from the colder climate of South East Australia. Several blending trials were undertaken to develop the best of these two wine varieties. Fresh, crisp, refreshing, with abundant citrus flavours. The palate is clean with balanced acid and an elegant dry finish.

Zilzie Liv Lighter Rose

Bright strawberries and subtle cherry with a refreshing mineral finish. This charming lighter in alcohol red at just 9% is the perfect drop when looking for a lower in alcohol alternative. Enjoy with smoked chicken and avocado salad, or prawn and chilli linguine Select parcels of Shiraz and Sangiovese grapes were de-stemmed and crushed, with the juice and skins quickly separated to ensure a delicate pink colour. The juice was fermented cold in stainless steel using an aromatic yeast strain. A small amount of residual sugar was le in the wine to balance the acidity on the palate. Zilzie Liv Lighter Pinot Noir

Charming red berry fruits with a dash of spice and soft tannins. Like most Australians, we love a drop of pinot noir and this drop by the Zilzie wines clan is a great example of how lighter in alcohol does not mean lighter in flavour. Fragrant spice, cherry and strawberry, with subtle undertones of sweet oak dominate the nose, with full juicy cherry, rhubarb and spice flavours hitting the palate with oomph.
