The Bolter Grenache

Entrada Rose of Grenache

The ‘Entrada’ range of wines are inspired by winemaker Alan Varney’s time in the small Portuguese town of Entradas, in Alentejo. Early picked from 60+ year old bush vine planted on the sandy slopes of Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, provides red berry aromatics, a touch of dried herb, and a textural mid-palate leading to a vibrant, long, and dry finish. ‘Pale and perfumed, rosehip, redcurrant and strawberry and spice, dry and fleshy, even acidity, fine powdery texture, and a fresh and gently earthy finish of fine length, with a slight tangerine tang. It’s very good. Nicely done.’ - 93 Points, Gary Walsh
