Innocent Bystander Pinot Noir

Innocent Bystander eminates from Victoria's Yarra Valley and is the brain child of owner, Phil Sexton. With winemaker Steve Flamsteed on board, the Innocent Bystander wines are fantastically varietal and extremely approachable. The Pinot Noir is packed full of black cherry and cedary notes with a perfect balance of soft, but fine grained tannin.

De Bortoli Windy Peak Pinot Noir

Undoubtedly one of the best value Pinots on the market. Bright cherry aromas on the nose, De Bortolis Windy Peak Pinot Noir is light to medium bodied with a hint of violet and juicy cherries on the palate. High acidity well balanced with subtle dusty oak, which leaves an impressive lingering finish. And outstanding summer drink at a modest price!

Mandala Pinot Grigio

On the nose, the wine is lifted and fresh displaying lime zest, tangerine, pear and cinnamon notes along with subtle hints of brioche and almond meal. The palate offers a fleshy grapefruit, pear and mandarin profile driven along a racy line of natural acidity. Citrus, saline and savoury notes persist on the finish. This Pinot Grigio was hand-picked, whole bunch pressed with 25% fermented wild in old French barriques and the remainder fermented cold and slowly in stainless. The resultant wine is both brightly aromatic and vibrant, yet complex, textural and savoury on the palate. Established by the Smedley family, Mandala Wines is a five-star James Halliday-rated Yarra Valley winery. The main site and Cellar Door at Dixon's Creek offers a full range of prized Estate wines for tasting, along with its renowned assortment of single-site wines. It was the family's favourite wines which lead them to the Yarra Valley region; Charles' love of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay plus the region's famous sublime cool climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, made it the perfect choice. But Mandala have also established Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot vines too. With ther sites only an hour from Melbourne, it really was the best place to unearth Mandala and make the wines they love to drink. Today Mandala is thriving within its beautiful Yarra Valley country setting, where their kids play and older ones spend time together, tell stories and enjoy the good life. The Smedley family want Mandala to be their legacy for the future generations, and to be indulged by whomever catches the wine bug.

Mount Mary Chardonnay

Langton's Classification: Excellent

At Mount Mary they aim to make a Chardonnay of great length that is able to reach a balance between complexity & finesse. Unashamedly Burgundian in concept, local Yarra Valley practices are employed to fully express the unique terroir, including the wine not going through Malolactic fermentation as Mount Mary's cool-climate leaves the fruit with ideal acidity when picked. Matured in 20% new French barriques with the remainder in older barrels and large casks and along with grape solids, this is a Chardonnay of impressive texture and complexity.

Mount Mary Triolet

The Triolet blend, first produced at this vineyard in 1987, was inspired by the white wines of Graves, Bordeaux. Each variety is picked at optimum ripeness, and is usually fermented separately. The characteristics of optimum ripeness are different for each variety. We pick the Sauvignon blanc after the strong herbaceous flavours have disappeared, the Semillon when the acid is not too harsh, and the Muscadelle when the flavour intensity peaks.

Punt Road Pinot Noir

A fruit driven style of Pinot with fragrant strawberry aromas and sweet berry flavours. Moderate acidity and feathery tannins frame an elegant palate of ripe cherry with a touch of earthiness.

Rob Dolan True Colours Pinot Noir

The Yarra Valley is renowned for its excellence in Pinot Noir and this expression is no exception. In the glass: Medium garnet red. On the nose: Ripe dark berry fruit. On the palate: Bold, quite powerul red plum and raspberry fruit with some background stalky, herbal elements. Firm and dry yet flavoursome and varietal.

Oakridge Over The Shoulder Pinot Noir

The team at Oakridge are going from strength to strength these days and they are taking the Over The Shoulder range with them. Dry maraschino cherry and gently gamey yet clean mouthful of delicious Pinot! Really great finishing length for this sort of price!

Yering Station Reserve Chardonnay

Yering Station Reserve wines are produced only in years of outstanding quality. The chardonnay is prodominetly sourced from D block on wineries estate.

Pacha Mama Pinot Gris

Sourced from a single vineyard site in the Strathbogie Ranges, ideally suited to growing aromatic and balanced Pinot Gris. The cool nights here allow the fruit to reach optimum ripeness whilst retaining an elegant balance between flavour, alcohol and acidity. This wine by Pacha Mama underwent lees stirring while in barrel, resulting in a buttery richness and complexity that sets the pinot gris style apart from the tighter, more acidic Pinot Grigio. Rich and inviting nose with white musk, fresh quince and honeysuckle. A generous and textural palate, with flavours of crýme brulee, lemon zest and musk, balanced by refreshing acidity and a satisfying, clean finish.
