Chateau Du Prada Vintage Bas Armagnac

Chateau du Prada Bas Armagnac 'Folle Blanche'

JEAN FILLIOUX COGNAC GRANDE CHAMPAGNE

Jean Fillioux, a semi artisan producer of cognacs from the very special Golden Triangle of the Grande Champagne region, itself the very best origin for cognacs, is listed in the 10 top trending brands by Drinks International. It should not be regarded as a magnificent achievement since the rest of the group is mostly the usual suspects, the well known very “commercial “ brands. However, it is proof that small artisan producers are being noticed for their superior quality, by even, the large mass of non-connoisseurs more attuned to the Big Houses of Cognac. To celebrate, Jean Fillioux has reserved for Cerbaco a barrel of their 1992 vintage just bottled as a Special Cerbaco Label. Vintage cognacs are as rare as hen’s teeth, even more so from the best part of Grand Champagne, and 1992, freshly bottled, perfectly proves the superiority and individuality of artisan production. Harvested and distilled in 1992, this Cognac was matured in a French recent loose grain oak cask, in a cool damp cellar. Tasting Notes: Nose: Fresh and floral on the nose with citrus fruit, syrupy apples and refined orchid tones. Palate: Round and complex palate with beeswax, ripe plum, candied orange and chocolate. Finish: Long and lively finish with persistent aromas of baked pastry, light spices, and cherry.

DOMAINE TARIQUET BAS ARMAGNAC

Domaine du Tariquet 1994 BA 45.5% 700ml Grape Variety: 60% Ugni-blanc 40% Baco Tasting Notes: Vintage blonde colour, slightly tiled. The nose is ripe, well vanilla, some aromas of hazelnut then a very pleasant sensation of sweetness. The aromatic palette turns out to be noble, very “cigar box” and cashew nuts on the glass bottom. The palate is suave, powerful, thick with a feeling of opulence, bringing in the finish more orange freshness.

Martell Cordon Bleu Extra Old Cognac

Putting a twist on an old favorite, the legendary cognac Martell Cordon Bleu is an international emblem of excellence. While the standard Cordon Bleu is of an XO quality, this new model is an Extra Cognac, making it significantly older: the youngest blend of eaux-de-vie that went into this release is 30 years and the oldest close to 60 years. Ideal for special occasions, the taste of this French cognac is an explosion of spicy fruit notes and elegant richness.

Maison Audry Cognac Fine Champagne NAPOLEON 15y to 18y

NAPOLÉON THE PERFECT BALANCE BETWEEN THE TONICITY OF A STILL YOUNG COGNAC AND THE ROUNDNESS OF AN ALREADY MATURE EAU-DE-VIE. OLFACTORY NOTES Supple and mellow, its bouquet is very fresh accompanied by scents of vanilla and lime blossom. TASTING NOTES Light palate with notes of candied fruit, buttery notes and vanilla. At the start of its ageing, this cognac undergoes a rapid passage in new barrels to keep the natural aromatics of the eaux-de-vie. It will then be transferred to an old barrel to continue its development in a humid cellar to promote its roundness and accentuate the rancios. This blend is a mixture of eaux-de-vie with and without lees, between 15 and 18 years old, from the terroirs of Petite and Grande Champagne. With its ABV of 40%, the reduction of eaux-de-vie in a natural way is favored. This high degree offers a more accomplished taste discovery as well as a better perception of aromas. This cognac contains no additives, sugar, or caramel. Only a slight filtration is carried out to preserve its aromatic qualities as much as possible.

Maison Audry Cognac Fine Champagne RESERVE SPECIALE 25y to 35y

OLFACTORY NOTES The first aromas of oak then evolve towards scents of vanilla, citrus, lemon zest and finally toasted almond and nougat. TASTING NOTES Creamy and rich on the palate, caramel then touches of black tea, honey, and very old oak. Very pleasant length in the mouth for this resolutely elegant cognac. At the start of its ageing, this cognac undergoes a rapid passage in new barrels to keep the natural aromatics of the eaux-de-vie. It will then be transferred to an old barrel to continue its development in a humid cellar to promote its roundness and accentuate the rancios. This blend is a mixture of eaux-de-vie with and without lees aged 25 to 30 years, selected only from the terroirs of Petite and Grande Champagne.
