A Shoemaker, also known as a Cordwainer, once lived at a creek. When he passed on, the place was then named after his most important tool, Snob, the small anvil used to shape the toe end of a boot. A balanced wine, The Cordwainer is a beautifully crafted Chardonnay with bright summer fruits of melon and intense stone fruit aromas on the nose. Combine with lees contact during barrel fermentation, the acidity is well integrated with the French oak, creating a seductive delicious finish.

Quality dry white wine, a blend (cuvée) of the Chardonnay and Riesling varieties with delicate golden colour and a greenish reflection. Planted in 1979 at an elevation 300 metres, the cool-grown Chardonnay here ranks with the regions very best. Add the skills of leading Chardonnay exponent David Bicknell and these hand-picked grapes become wines that express their variety and origin with consummate precision and flair.

Lightfoot & Sons Myrtle Point Vineyard is located in East Gippsland, Victoria, within view of the Gippsland Lakes. The 29Ha vineyard was planted between 1995-1997 by the Lightfoot family on their farm Myrtle Point. This Single Block Chardonnay was made from an outstanding parcel of fruit identified in Block 2 within the Lightfoot & Sons Myrtle Point Vineyard. The Block 2 Chardonnay develops exceptional concentration of flavour while retaining acidity. 100% Barrel fermentation with wild yeast resulted in a wine of great complexity, depth and texture.

The Lenton Brae Southside Chardonnay plays off the already established Wilyabrup Chardonnay with a fresh, vibrant feel to the wine. A cleansing line of acid is evident throughout the palate as is the textured mouthfeel courtesy of 'wild' primary fermentation and the addition of quality oak to the process. Designed to be enjoyed in its youth, this classic Margaret River Chardonnay will also enjoy some short to medium-term cellaring to coax out its true essence.
