Founded in 1921 by the legendary Maurice O’Shea, whose contribution to Australian wine cannot be understated. Widely recognised for setting the standard for modern Australian winemaking, his ‘fanatical perfectionism’ saw him create Mount Pleasant’s signature style of elegance, balance and exceptional longevity. For 100 years, Mount Pleasant has produced iconic, elegant and expressive wines championing the fruit and individual character of our four vineyard sites. The rare ancestral vines include some of the oldest clone plantings in the country. This makes the Old Hill vineyard, while best known for Shiraz, the oldest Pinot Noir vineyard in Australia.

This wine is vivid purple in colour with aromas of black current, blueberry, leather and spice. The palate is long and layered with black and blue fruits, and layers of leafy complexity with tobacco and chocolate notes.

This wine is crafted from hand picked Shiraz grapes from two of the oldest vineyards in the Hunter Valley. Quality fruit produces a beautifully rich and seamless palate of sweet red and blackberry fruit, combined with dense vanilla oak and a chocolatey finish. Ideal fo long term cellering.

Deep red in colour with black pepper and currant aromas typical of this region. The bouquet has soft Red cherries and mulberry fruits with mocha and savoury spice. Intense mulberry and blackberry fruit core with complex savoury spice on the palate with a hint of integrated oak with soft and silky tannins o the finish.

This wine is medium ruby red in colour showing aromas of cassis, blackberry and mint with rounded earthy Merlot overtones. The palate is richly balanced showing ripe dark berry fruits with well integrated savoury oak and soft tannins giving this wine a lovely smooth finish.

Bimbadgen Ridge Shiraz Cabernet Merlot is a medium bodied wine that combines the firm fruity characters of Shiraz with the length and finish of Cabernet and soft fleshy Merlot.

Lifted Cabernet aromas of mulberries with a spicy herbal edge, rich and firm tannins, long persistant finish.
