Brookland Valley Verse 1 Chardonnay

A full flavoured wine from the popular Margaret River region. It has a beautiful balance of sweet citrus fruits complemented by nougat and grilled nut flavours. Suits cheese, tapas and chicken dishes. 'When a company makes cutting-edge top-shelf wine the quality usually lows down to cheaper wines in its portfolio. We can taste - this deliciously in Verse 1 chardonnay, little sibling of the far more expensive Brookland Valley Chardonnay and relative of several other classy chardonnays (including Eileen Hardy Chardonnay) in the Accolade Wine Group. We bought our bottle for just under $13 during a recent visit to Wollongong and came back for seconds. What a delight it is - crisp, fresh, smoothly textured and packed with juicy, nectarine-like varietal flavour. It's widely distributed, often discounted, a safe bet every time.' - Sunday Canberra Times, 05 May 2013, by Chris Shanahan.

Round Two Chardonnay

Aromas of ripe honey dew melons, peaches and nectarine. Medium weighted, creamy stone fruit flavours held in check with textural fresh citrus acidity.

Kingston Estate Chardonnay

This elegant Chardy presents a pale lemon to light straw hue. Fragrances of white peach, stone fruit and creamy vanillin oak flow off the scintillating nose, seamlessly moving to the medium to full bodied palate. The palate contains peach and nectarine flavours that fuse with creamy oak undertones, leading to a zingy finale. It pairs well with creamy pastas, chicken and pork.

Bunkers Honeycombs Chardonnay

Bunkers Honeycombs Chardonnay is a white varietal which has a pale green colour. Its nose gives off lovely aromas of citrus and stone fruit, while its palate tastes of Chardonnay grapes wrapped in a delicate and creamy mid-palate. The process of oak maturation adds texture, complexity and finesse to the palate, which gets balanced by zingy acidic tinges. Its fruity and persistent climax makes it a wonderful food wine, perfect for casual dinner parties with friends and family! Crabs, prawns, pasta and risottos taste great with this elegant Chardonnay.

St Huberts The Stag Chardonnay

Light and lively without being shallow, lemon blossom and pear flavours follow from the nose. The wine is fresh, restrained and evenly textured. Just a feather dusting of oak, and a lingering citrus finish.

Sisters Run Chardonnay

A true expression of Chardonnay grown at Lyndoch in the Barossa Valley in all its fruitful glory. Intense bouquet is pleasantly fruity with highlights of green pear and clingstone peach accented by the flowery notes of apple blossom against a genteel boisé background. The palate is a rush of citrus and white peach with fresh acidity. Clean, lemon-citrus and Pink Lady apples with a layer of minerality and viscosity. Textured stone fruit balanced with fresh, grainy acidity with a long crisp finish. 90 Points | James Halliday 2017 Vintage.
