Evans & Tate Single Vineyard Malbec
This rarely seen straight Bordeaux varietal is one wine enthusiasts are gravitating to, and Margaret River appears a natural home for Malbec to thrive. A cooler, longer 2019 vintage meant our red wines showed supple, ripe tannins and full lengthy flavours, evident in the ultra-premium 2019 Evans & Tate Single Vineyard Malbec. From a small block on the family-run Carter Road Vineyard in the heart of Wilyabrup, this wine is a world-class example of how great Malbec can drink on its own. Two trophies and five gold medals are just a fraction of praise for this award-winning wine, matured in larger French oak puncheons (12% new) to ensure perfume and freshness are retained and a silky, dense and refined palate with textural complexity. Intense but delicate, the wine is fruit driven, juicy and super ripe, with a peppery flavour profile encompassing blueberry, dark plum, vanilla essence and chocolate and orange peel.

Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
'Black Label' Cabernet Sauvignon, which was first vintaged in 1954, has evolved markedly over the decades. It is arguably Australia's most recognised Cabernet Sauvignon, and has more than any other, helped define Coonawarra. The wine is matured in new and seasoned French oak for 12 to 18 months. A classic Coonawarra Cabernet with pristine dark berry/ cassis aromas, fine grained tannins and underlying savoury nuances, it develops into a rich, chocolaty wine with age. In a super vintage, this wine can look astonishingly like a 2nd or 3rd growth Bordeaux with its pure cassis aromas and cedary complexity. This class cabernet has deep red colour with purple hues indicating the freshness and quality to come. Aromas of leafy mint with complex capsicum and cedar with ripe berry notes adding complexity with firm tannins and well balanced acid leading to a long finish.

A full bodied, intense red with blackcurrant, cedar, and white pepper flavours. Elegant, fine grained tannin gives this wine good potential to age. Excellent with roast meats or BBQ steak.
Willow Bridge Coat of Arms Cabernet Sauvignon
Aromatic dark fruits of mulberry and black plum. A complex and layered palate of primary mulberry and blackberry supported by black olive and dark chocolate with the gentlest hint of toasty french oak. Estate grown from the spectacular hillside vineyard in the Ferguson Valley of the Geographe wine region, fruit is sourced predominately from the Blinman block which was planted in 1998. Soil is typically a deep layer of ironstone gravelly loam over red and yellow friable clay with slight westerly aspects at elevations of 220 to 250m above sea level. The Coat of Arms is an expression of the deep dark fruit characters we attain from the Ferguson region, rich and smooth with lashings of chocolate, entwined with secondary characters of oak and black olive. Winemaking technique enhances the aromatic and flavour profile of the varieties whilst maintaining a long fine tannin structure. Maturation adds further layers.
