Palate:Medium bodied and vibrant palate sums up this wonderful expression of Wilyabrup Cabernet. The palate is fresh and full of vibrant mulberry, cassis and black cherry flavours. Mature, ripe and fresh tannin drives the flavour to a long and persistent finish. Viticulture This Cabernet Sauvignon was grown in the Wilyabrup sub region of Margaret River. The canopy management is a vertical shoot position trellis with a north south facing aspect. The clonal selection is the popular Houghton selection Cabernet Sauvignon. Soil types are typically sandy loam over free draining lateritic sub soils. 2021 is typified by a cool and mild growing season which has culminated in wines of delicacy and poise. Winemaking The fruit was picked on the 11th April showing excellent flavours and tannin maturity. Lightly crushed fruit was then placed to a static fermenter for a further 13 days of fermentation with daily pump overs to ensure a moderate fermentation temperature and extraction of tannin. Once the desirable amount of flavour and tannin was evident the wine was pressed before being matured in seasoned French oak for a following 9 months before bottling. STELLA BELLA WINES Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River

Aromatic and brightly fruited, Stella Bella Cabernet Merlot shows ripe cassis fruit, savoury dried herbs and well-integrated cedary oak. Elegant and fruit pure with supple fine-grained tannins it is a benchmark example of Western Australian Cabernet Merlot.

Sourced from 100% Frankland River fruit, Flametree's Shiraz is a varietal of distinctiveness and a sense of place. A lovely nose of berry fruit leading to fruit driven palate of rich cherry, spice and liquorice tones with soft velvety tannins. A wonderful example of elegant, perfumed Shiraz.

From the highly regarded wine making team at Pierro comes this more than worthy second label. Expressive red berry characters on the nose are intermingled with nuances of blood plum, and on the palate these flavours are underpinned by subtle oak.

This 2014 Rosabrook Cabernet Merlot is one of the Margaret River's signature wine styles. Great licks of black fruit from the Cabernet Sauvignon interlaced with the smooth plum characters on Merlot. It is a beautifully made wine with great balance and a lengthy finish. It will be great with meat dishes or even a cheese platter. Owned by Calneggia Family Vineyards, one of Margaret River's pioneering grape growers with winemaker legend Brian Fletcher pulling the winemaking levers.

The juicy grapes used to produce Best Blocks Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested, and crushed into stainless steel fermenters. The juice obtained was pumped over and left on skins. This deep red-hued Cabernet Sauvignon showcases a brick red haze. The aromatic nose flaunts pleasing scents of ripe berries and dry herbs such as aniseed and sage. These fragrances make way for a rich and soft palate filled with concentrated fruit flavours and balanced tannins. This full-bodied Cab Sauv ends in an elegant, yet powerful and long finish. Made for consumption upon release, this mouth watering red wine has the potential to be cellared for six years. It tastes fantastic with mustard and herb crusted rack of lamb, served with sautéed vegetables.

Our first Cabernet Merlot was produced in 1982. We have always felt that the Merlot grape variety enhanced the Cabernet and in this case at 29%, the Merlot is more than a bit player. Indeed tasters sometimes suggest that the Merlot is dominant, with its velvety, rounded character. Merlot extends the flavour, enhances the finish and performs in a very positive fashion.
