Peter Yealands Marlborough Riesling - Related products

Toi Toi Sauvignon Blanc

Typical Marlborough fresh tropical fruits and grapefruit on the nose followed by refreshing acidity on the palate with passionfruit and gooseberry varietal flavours. Very Marlborough, very affordable!

Lawson's Dry Hills Pinot Gris

Lawson's Dry Hills is a family owned winery in Marlborough, focussed on the production of quality wine. Their Pinot Gris is a nod to the old world, with a leesy texture and a touch of residual sugar, this is a wine of finesse and elegance.

Giesen Organic Sauvignon Blanc

The Giesen Organic Sauvignon Blanc is a brilliant new addition to the Giesen stable of outstanding white wines that includes the world famous Giesen Sauvignon Blanc. Sourced from two BioGro certified vineyards in Marlborough, this fresh and vibrant aromatic white shows the trademark burst of tropical fruit flavours the region is famous for along with plenty of lemon and lime zest to give the wine real drive. There is an understated feel to the wine, while still retaining all that we love about Marlborough; bold, fruit-driven flavour.

Giesen The Brothers Sauvignon Blanc

A true favourite in the world of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Giesen produces a brilliant style here with their flagship 'The Brothers'. Hints of tropical on the nose and palate, but with fantastic texture and mouth feel to separate it from the crowd.

Felton Road Bannockburn Riesling

An off-dry lower alcohol style, Felton Roads Bannockburn Riesling displays floral lift and fleshy stone fruit richness balanced by taut racy acidity. The fruit comes from Calvert & The Elms vineyards in the Bannockburn sub-region of Central Otago. The grapes are whole bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts, with the ferment arrested when the desired balance between acidity, alcohol and residual sugar is reached.

Seresin Sauvignon Blanc

Amongst the sea of quality Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that is flooding Australia, Seresin Sauvignon Blanc stands out as having that something extra: perhaps it is the wild yeast ferment; perhaps the partial barrel ferment; or perhaps it is the 5 per cent of Semillon in the blend. Whatever the secret, this wine has body and finesse that raises it above its Marlborough peers.

Mahi Sauvignon Blanc

This wine shows an array of fruit characters, ranging from citrus through to tropical notes. This is complemented by some secondary characters from the natural yeast ferments and also some barrel aging. The palate has an elegant structure with a creamy, textural mid-palate and a long finish.

Giesen Estate Riesling Blush

This inviting Riesling Blush will greet your senses with aromas of luscious red berries and elderflower, subtle sweet spice and a refreshing twist of citrus. Take a sip and enjoy a burst of mouth-watering lime and blood orange flavours, with a touch of sweetness that finishes dry and refreshing.

Saint Clair Pioneer Block 3 Sauvignon Blanc

Zingy grapefruit, blackcurrant leaf flavours and a gentle softness that acts as a ruse to its long finish. Rated by our tasting panel as a must try example of this variety. With over 30 years of experience in the Marlborough region, viticultural pioneers Neal and Judy Ibbotson have single-handedly brought to life one of the most exciting brands in this famed region, well worthy of significant attention. Clearly one of the most exhilarating Sauvignon Blancs we've tasted this year, Block 3 takes the variety and region to another level with marked complexity and dimension. Squeaky clean, full and rich, the palate calls out vibrant flavours of passionfruit, peach and crushed herb with mouth-watering acidity and freshness. Limited Stock

Black Cottage Chardonnay

A percentage of the grapes were handpicked and whole bunch pressed, with about 20% seeing French oak, the majority well-seasoned. A small percentage worked through malo with a substantial amount of button age to build mouth feel. The colour is golden straw. An aroma complex nose with layers of stone fruit, mingling with brioche. The palate is full-bodied and richly textured with fleshy stone fruit. This is an elegant Chardonnay with a lingering, lively finish.
