Comando G La Bruja de Rozas The La Bruja de Rozas is a Villages style wine. The name translates to the witch of Rozas. Superstitions and rumours abound in the area where near ever-present and eerie cloud cover that sits. The fruit is sourced from several vineyards around near the village of Rozas. And there is more than a hint of Villages Burgundy about the La Bruja. Expect dried cherries and herb notes on the nose and pinpoint signature Gredos/Comando G acidity. Made by the Torres family and coming exclusively from their vineyards located in the municipalities of Porrera and Lloar. Salmos is a Priorat wine, a blend between Carignan, Grenache & Syrah, that manages to achieve an unparalleled balance between power and elegance. Dark ruby red. Rich, ripe wine with floral (confected rose) and fruit (dark cherries, prunes) aromas. Beautifully framed by French oak. Elegant, subtle midpalate, very finely structured tannins and a slight touch of toast (cocoa).

There are minuscule volumes produced of the Cirsion by Bodegas Roda (the name of the thistle which is Roda's logo) which is made from grapes specially selected for the suppleness of the tannins they deliver. Parcels selected are from low-yielding older Tempranillo vines of 45 years and more, from four vineyards. Choosing the plants with the softest tannins, this makes the wine very attractive and supple early on, but it still has great ageing potential.

John Duval was the Chief Winemaker at Penfolds from 1986 - 2002, entrusted to make some of Australia's most iconic wines. This traditional old vine blend is a superb expression of the Barossa.
