Over 20 years of experience as a winemaker and wine judge – and a great attitude. As John says, “you just can’t take life too seriously”. His ‘Enchanted Tree’ Shiraz certainly has the magic Midas touch, winning a rare Double Gold. It's dark and sumptuous, with silky raspberry and plum flavours, with a dash of creamy oak and lovely sweet spice.

It's made by the talented John Quarisa, who has enjoyed a “distinguished career as a winemaker spanning over 20 years” (Halliday). John likes his wines to express big personality and juicy fruit and value for money – he’s certainly achieved that here! Ripe and round blackberries conspire with flavours of plum and cinnamon spice. On the palate, rich red berries and brewed coffee make for a very appealing wine.

Wynns, modestly priced cabernet is very good, in a pure fruit, lighter, more accessible style than Black Label. In the glass its bright and alluring with concentrated aromatics of rose and forest floor, accentuated by subtle dried lavender and white sage. The palate Juicy, lush and generous, layered with dark rich brambles of blackberry, cherry, plumb and moss. The wine is enhanced by succulent acid, fine cedar and elegant tannins, leading to beautiful depth and length, creating a wine of harmony and poise. Limited Stock.

A richly fruited yet savoury Shiraz. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Spicy dark cherry and liquorice aromas mix with dried herb, earth and pepper notes. Rich dark to black cherry and liquorice fruits meld into an earthy dried herb and peppered smoked meat back drop. Slightly grainy tannins with a savoury mid length conclusion.
