93pt Victorian Shiraz “A medium-bodied example of a cooler climate Shiraz from the Plenty region just out of Melbourne. Loaded with dark cherry, and ripe plum with a subtle chocolate and spicy nuance adding complexity. The palate has a slightly liqueur texture which is balanced by the spicy bay leaf and a touch of black olive. This Pinot Noir from the home of the long white cloud offers ripe red berry fruit aromas of cherries and vanilla with spicy undertones. The palate is rich in flavours of cinnamon, rhubarb, tamarilllo and red cherries shine through. The tannins are velvety with a long finish.
