Gold Sky by Peorco Vineyards Red Blend

Absolutely bursting with a medley of vibrant fruit flavours on nose and in the mouth, this is a delicious blend of Shiraz Petit Verdot and Merlot, as dramatic as the label suggests. When blending individual parcels of wine it is always of particular interest to winemakers as to which varieties come to the fore and dominate the aromatics up front, which settle in the mid palate and provide the dominant flavour, and assuming there are more than two (as here) which drop into the back palate to 'bring it all home'. Each variety in Gold Sky comes from a particular site that delivers its variety particularly well, and the result is a versatile red offering complexity and tremendous drinkability.

Cat Amongst The Pigeons Shiraz Bagnum

Ripe red fruit on the nose with spice and rich berry fruit flavours on the palate.

Caravan Petite Sirah

The label is a treat (a tiny vintage caravan parked outside a grand French château) but the wine itself is what's really special here. Made by Jimmy Watson trophy-winning John Quarisa, it's a big, rich red with velvety tannins and a long, smooth finish. THREE Golds show that the show judges love it too. This is impressive stuff!

Jacob's Creek Reserve Shiraz

Only outstanding parcels of fruit are selected for Jacob's Creek Reserve Shiraz. This rich generous and complex Shiraz shows ripe blackberry fruit with hints of black pepper and subtle toasty oak.

Beresford Shiraz

Beresford pride themselves on passionately capturing the pure varietal expression and the essence of their terrior to deliver a Shiraz of timeless elegance and muscular complexity. Quintessentially McLaren Vale, the wine has a rich, full palate brimming with dark berry fruits, coffee and spice characteristics finishing with soft, lengthy tannins. A cracking wine of great substance and exceptional balance.

Brokenwood Cricket Pitch Cabernet Merlot Shiraz

The ability to source fruit away from their home base in the Hunter is paying dividends for Brokenwood. This Cricket Pitch is a ripe, fully flavoured red blend - this is the ideal BBQ companion.
