Scorpo Bestia Pinot Grigio on Skins

Attractive coppery pink in the glass. The nose has notes of musk, candied orange peel, fresh blood orange, sour cherry, fresh herbs and a slight Campari twist. Bitter-edged on the palate with that blood orange note, with musky pear, peach and strawberry fruit. It has a soft phenolic texture along with zesty tannins that add a pleasant grip. Finishes dry, clean and tangy. Engaging and moreish, with impressive finesse for this style of wine, and with a good volume of fresh fruit to balance the phenolic and savoury skinsy elements.

Jones Road Nepean Chardonnay

This Chardonnay by Jones Rd is precise, intense and rippling with concentration and nerve. Aromas of hazelnut, nougat, pears, grapefruit and florals. The palate has a fine etched acidity with savoury, nutty flavours. A piercing and linear wine with restrained grapefruit flavour, finishing crisp and mouth-watering fresh.

Taturry 'Mosselini Vineyard' Chardonnay

Garagiste Merricks Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir

Fruit for this wine was hand sorted twice & produced in two ways; one fermenter of whole berries & another of 100% whole bunches. Blended together. Matured in 300-litre hogsheads (roughly 20% new, François Frères). Ten months on lees before bottling, unfiltered. A graceful & savoury expression of Mornington Pinot Noir. Red plum, spice & dark cherry characters. Fine, supporting tannins. A lingering, perfumed finish of amaro spice.

Terindah Estate Pinot Gris

Very light straw in colour, this Pinot Gris delights with an ever so slight bronze hue. Notes of orange blossom and honey due can be seen with hints of toasted nougat. The front palate is bright and lively with a soft lime citrus line providing zest and vibrancy. Gentle phenolics hold the mid palate allowing for subtle oak flavours to linger. The slight level of residual sugar balances the acid on the finish wonderfully and leaves you looking for the next sip.

Fenian Chardonnay

A deep straw colour with a depth of promise that builds the anticipation. The wine is young and as such rightly shy and reticent. A bouquet of banana skin and melon in line with a generous ripening season. Wisps of citrus and biscuit, indications of length and structure. The palate is rich and generous. There is a wild puppy-like character to this wine with it’s youthful exuberance and cheekiness, aspects that will soften with age and time left alone to contemplate it’s future. It will create wonderful body over it’s long tight spine. In time there will be added creaminess and depth, with apple pie and lemon meringue complexity growing ever more prominent. Drink it now if you must, or wait and open your first bottle in 2-3 years where your greatest regret will have been not buying more. Enjoy it now as a weighty aperitif or drink with robust white meats and even curries in the years to come. Best enjoyed with close dear friends. Drink now to 8 years but certainly longer!

Fenian Estate Pinot Noir

A misty hue greets the drinker like a view over a vineyard in Spring. A deep burgundy speckled with violet highlights. A lifted bouquet of cherry and plum sauce with herbaceous floral undertones. Cedar and dark chocolate are support acts. The palate surges, lifted and broad. Cherry and raspberries dominate, with deep mushroom tones, baked fruits and herb aromatics with texture, providing lift and glimpses to the future. The persistence is remarkable. This wine drinks deep and offers generous persistence on both palate and over time in bottle. Richer than the 2021 and darker. Drink with ones you love and anything that demands great wine.

Fenian Wines Estate Pinot Gris

Pale yellow in colour. Lifted bright aromas of citrus, ripe pear and floral notes of orange blossom and elderflower. Generous flavours of sweet citrus, pear and elderflower on the palate. Fresh acidity, well balanced with a small amount of residual sugar and a long lasting finish.

Yarra Valley Pinot Gris Skin Contact

The wine is cloudy with a rose gold colour. Orange zest & potpourri dominate on the nose and palate. This wine is all about the grip and texture and is the perfect wine to accompany food, especially rich, fatty foods. The wine is initially quite shy in the glass so give it some time to open up.
