Son Peter took over Jim Barry in 1985, and today brothers Tom and Sam – together shortlisted for Winemaker of the Year 2026) are pushing the bar even higher. Though the name Jim Barry is almost synonymous with the Clare Valley, the family own vineyards in Coonawarra too, and for this Single site beauty they use fruit from the Penola Cricket Ground vineyard, – literally an old cricket ground, they bought and planted in 1997. Two Hands Bella's Garden Shiraz

This Two Hands Shiraz is full bodied but very buoyant. Bright flavours are lifted and accented by notes of fresh blue and blackberry with hints of plum. Creamy complexity through the palate adds depth and interesting texture. Palate has great depth and a coating nature but doesnt feel heavy. Tannins start mid-palate and leave a lovely rolling chewy nature. Spicy through the finish with vanilla and sweet baking spices.
