This single block Shiraz is crafted to the highest standards, utilising fruit from one of the Coonawarras most outstanding Shiraz vineyards. It epitomises the purity and elegance of cool climate Coonawarra.Fruit for this wine comes entirely from Tim Kidmans vineyard; specifically blocks 1 and 2 which our winemaking team have selected for special treatment due to the exceptional quality. These established vines are 50+ years old, and rest in classic terra rossa over limestone soils. They are naturally low yielding (approximately 3t/Ha), producing beautifully concentrated fruit that thrives from minimal, hand tended viticulture.After being hand harvested on the 26th of March, 2020 fruit was fermented in open static fermenters for 14 days. Malolactic fermentation was conducted in stainless steel before being barrelled down to premium French oak (25% new) for 18 months maturation. Bottled on 29th November, 2021 and allowed to settle and mature in bottle prior to release in April 2022.

Full bodied dry red. Rich plum, blackberry and spice overlaid with vanillin oak. Layered blackberry, raspberry and mulberry with chocolate, spice and silky tannins and a wonderfully textured finish

Produced from premium Shiraz grapes grown on Coonawarra's famous Terra Rossa soil, this well structured wine exhibits great depth and varietal flavours. This Redman Shiraz drinks well now but will reward 5-7 years cellaring.

Wynns is in the fortunate position to have holdings of some of Coonawarra's oldest Shiraz vines and coupled with recent plantings in the 1990s, Wynns now have fruit that is worthy of its own place amongst the Wynns elite. Enter Wynns Black Label Shiraz - with a dense, dark nose of pepper, mulberries and distinctive florals that are the perfect gateway to a palate that is rich and complex. Flavours of layered red berry, spice and chocolate with tight, focused tannins that will see the Black Label Shiraz become another Wynns favourite.

The Malleea (an aboriginal word for 'green paddock') is a very fine exapmle of the classic Australian Cabernet/Shiraz blend. The 2008 is rich, dark magenta in colour, with ripe plums, spice and vanillin oak on the nose. The palate is like a complex fruit cake with layers of fresh berries, black olives and hints of chocolate.

This Cabernet Shiraz blend from Majella, icons of Coonawarra, is all about bright youthful fruit. Made with little oak influence, the upfront mulberry and blackcurrant characters are supported by fine lingering tannins.

Sisters Run is an independently owned and operated winery with a fierce commitment to make the best wines from family vineyards. The label pays reference to talented young winemaker Elena Brooks who wears steel cap boots in the day but carries a pair of high heels in the back of the ute, just in case of emergencies. This big Coonawarra red is just about perfect to drink now. Its blackcurrant flavours will shine with roast lamb and rosemary potatoes or a duck ragu with creamy wild mushroom sauce.
