Macedonias wine history dates back before Alexander and was considered one of the best wine making regions by the Roman empire. Today, Macedonia is continuing its rich wine heritage with modern interpretations of both indigenous and international varieties. A perfect blend of all of these qualities is the SYNTHESIS, a blend of native Vranec with Cabernet and Merlot, aged for 8 months in Macedonian oak barrels, the wine is dense and concentrated with a soft tannin structure and a savoury edge.

Yannick Amirault inherited five hectares from his father in 1982 and has since transformed the domaine to one reputable of Bourgueil. The fruit for this Cabernet Franc is sourced from the La Coudraye vineyard situated within the appellation of the famous Loire Valley.
