Comando G La Bruja de Rozas The La Bruja de Rozas is a Villages style wine. The name translates to the witch of Rozas. Superstitions and rumours abound in the area where near ever-present and eerie cloud cover that sits. The fruit is sourced from several vineyards around near the village of Rozas. And there is more than a hint of Villages Burgundy about the La Bruja. Expect dried cherries and herb notes on the nose and pinpoint signature Gredos/Comando G acidity. We select the fruit from the cool south-facing slopes high in the Adelaide Hills. Sweet strawberry, cherry and spice aromas follow through to the palate, where the lively bubbles add lift and balance to these fruit flavours. This wine has wonderful length and supple mouth feel. Winemaking: The fruit is all hand-picked and whole bunch pressed into tank for fermentation. A remaining parcel of Pinot Noir is fermented as red wine in open top fermenters with daily plunging. Fermentation lasts around 12 days and the wines go through malo-lactic ferment over winter to soften the acids. Blending then takes place, combining the clear base wine with around 4-7% of the red wine to achieve the pale pink colour and fruit lift that is signature of this wine. Try with tuna sashimi, salmon or chilli prawns.

This spicy Barossa blend is based on fruit from mature Grenache vines. Ripe plum aromas jump out of the glass and the palate is rich and fruity with velvety tannins providing a lingering finish.

In 1896 Marcel Ott of Alsace found an estate which inspired him, Château de Selle in Tarandeau, Provence, where once olives, lavender and mulberries grew. Cur de Grain represents wine-making genius, and today the distinctive bottle evokes the memory of the elegant amphora of centuries past. Today, 120 years later, cousins Jean-François and Christian Ott dedicate their lives to their ancestors love for Provence. In 2004, Domaines Ott* joined Louis Roederer and its fabulous selection of wine craftsmen.
