As a young winemaker travelling the globe, the 'Old World' Chardonnay that Ben Riggs fell in love with in the 1980's were described as 'like drinking cold chalk soup', and have inspired him to make this beloved Adelaide Hills Chadonnay. Over the years Ben has been searching for the perfect cold site to make a dry Chardonnay renowned for the purity of its aroma and taste.

Deep yellow in appearance with an aromatic nose of stone fruit and citrus with notes of creamy vanillin oak. The mouthfeel here is fulsome and rich whilst the fresh stone fruit character and integrated oak delivers impressive flavour and a creaminess to the finish. This is a seamless and unashamedly flavoursome Chardonnay with great flavours, freshness and a lasting finish

Deep yellow hue with inviting aromas of ripe stone fruit and citrus, layered with subtle creamy oak notes. The palate is rich and full-bodied, showing generous stone fruit flavours supported by well-integrated oak, a smooth creamy texture and balanced freshness, finishing with pleasing length and depth.

Elephant in the Room Chardonnay is medium, deep straw yellow in colour with a highly expressive nose of ripe peach and melon aromas, struck match and notes of creamy oak. The palate is bold and upfront with a burst peach, guava and melon flavours with a rich and soft texture building to a mouthcoating and full back palate framed by subtle toasty oak. Fresh acidity gives balance before a soft dry finish.

Mouth-filling whilst still embracing a light and delicate texture. Refreshing tight acidity and a lovely clean finish.
