Franklin Tate Estates Chardonnay

Evans & Tate is arguable the most famous name in Western Australia wine, and now the Tate name has been re-born in the Franklin Tate Estates wines made by esteemed winemaker, Rory Clifton-Parks. Franklin Tate himself has sought out the finest vineyard sites in the Margaret River region to deliver superb, terroir driven, wines that showcase the tradition and longevity of the Tate name, but also a modern and innovative wine-making approach. The Chardonnay was one third fermented in fine French Oak barriques delivery a soft and creamy mouthfeel, yet still with varietal lift and fine acid balance.

d'Arenberg Olive Grove Chardonnay

This McLaren Vale Chardonnay displays rich tropical fruit with subtle oak integration adding complexity. A trademark d'arenberg style, the overall balance indicates the potential to age well.

Punt Road Chardonnay

Punt Road Napoleone Chardonnay is a lovely cool climate Chardonnay sourced from the Yarra Valley, this wine shows citrus and stonefruit aromas with a creamy barrel ferment texture. Layers of peach and citrus flavours and a crisp acid finish. Incredible quality at this price.

Robert Oatley Signature Series Chardonnay

With not only Robert 'Bob' Oatley's signature on the label, the wine itself has the signature of winemaker Larry Cherubino all over it. Supple and elegant along power and poise are all trademarks of the award winning WA winemaker; all of which are on display here with the Signature Series Chardonnay from Margaret River. Stone fruit notes greet the nose which are then reflected onto the palate that has a length of flavour befitting of a premium Chardonnay.

Brokenwood Chardonnay

Brokenwood continue to push the boundaries with their Chardonnay - this release sees the majority of fruit sourced from the exciting Beechworth region and winemaking inputs emphasise complexity.

Tyrrell's Moon Mountain Chardonnay

This is a real crowd pleaser from Tyrrell's Wine. Plus one of the pioneers of the variety in Australia, Chardonnay. The Hunter Vally Moon mountain Chardy is a well crafted elegant wine with fresh green melon flavours and cleansing crisp acidity.

Devil's Corner Sparkling Cuvèe

The cooler climate in Tasmania has always been an ideal place for Pinot Noir to grow as this variety requires longer ripening periods. Chardonnay on the other hand just thrive the extra time to develop more elegant floral, crisp green apple, citrus flavour and natural acidity. When these two join forces, they become the classic base blend ideal for Sparkling wine. This is well balanced with a dry, refreshing finish.
