Château l'Evangile Pomerol

Gravel soils make up the primary soil type at Château l'Evangile which is consistent with most of Bordeaux's right bank region of Pomerol. Merlot is the variety of choice in the blend with Cabernet Sauvignon to create a wine full of plushness, vibrant aromatics and smooth, lingering finish. The 2009 vintage was wonderfully kind of all of Bordeaux and Pomerol was no exception with the l'Evangile producing a wine of plushness and warmth as well as one of concentration and power. A classic Pomerol.

Château Lascombes Margaux

Château Lascombes was a small property by Bordeaux standards up until 1951, which then grew to beyond its means until the most recent ownership change which has seen better fruit selection and a creation of a second label to produce an estate wine of purity and concentrated flavours. Using the talents of Dr Alain Reynaud and Michel Rolland the wines continue to impress in recent years, namely this spectacular 2009 vintage which is proving to be one of the greatest vintages in the past 100. Even at this early stage the Lascombes looks superb with balance between power and opulence treading a near perfect line.

Spinifex Indigene Shiraz/Mataro

Elegant and medium bodied, Indigene by Spinifex is a Shiraz Mataro blend typically displaying ripe red and black complemented by forest floor and savoury undertones hinting of the Old World. The fruit is sourced from selected vineyards averaging in age between 60-100 years, providing the blend with impressive intensity and depth of flavour. Following traditional vinification, the wine is aged in seasoned French oak.

Dalvina Amfora Cuvee White

Macedonias wine history dates back before Alexander and was considered one of the best wine making regions by the Roman empire. Today, Macedonia is continuing its rich wine heritage with modern interpretations of both indigenous and international varieties. This white blend is aged in Amphoras based on ancient versions dug up in Dalvinas vineyards. This dry white shows aromas of citrus and granny smith apples, creamy mouthfeel and long clean, fresh finish.

Casa Di Baal Marialonga IGT

Intense yellow, not completely limpid. To the nose the wine offers notes of citrus, yellow ripe fruits and Mediterranean herbs. In the mouth is fresh, fruity and pleasantly easy to drink.

Ederle Donna Francesca IGT

Aromas of honey, ripe yellow fruit, hint of exotic fruits, magnolia and broomflower. Complex and fully-bodied, warm rounded, chulk-lik minerality and good fresh acidity.
