The Tate family are one of the most famous wine names in Western Australia, especially in Margaret River. It was the Tate family who began Evans & Tate decades ago and today the Tate name is re-born under the Franklin Tate Estates label. A wine with the pizzazz of a unicorn, but the serious expression of a rhino, this unoaked Chardonnay is full of fresh fruit flavours such as melon and peach. It has a crisp, clean finish.

A pale straw‑coloured fizz with a gentle, fine bead. On the nose you’ll pick up fresh lemon‑citrus brightness, followed by red‑currant and light cherry fruit, layered with creamy, biscuity and bread‑crust yeast characters. Chardonnay sourced from Victorias cool climate King Valley goes into Nugan's Estate Chardonnay. Pale straw in appearance, with a youthful green hue. Aromas of peach, nectarine, poached peach and mixed spice, a rich mout filling palate of stone fruit, biscuit and yeast notes with a crisp acidity make this a good drink.
