Mr Anderson Sauvignon Blanc

The thirst for the fruit filled wines of Australia doesn't stop. So getting our hands on good value, great tasting wines with class and character has its challenges. That’s where our well-travelled scout comes in – Michael, nicknamed Mr Anderson (a reference to the Matrix movies). And with outback wineries flung far and wide it’s ideal to have a Kombi to hole up in. Meet our wine Mr Anderson, which captures all that’s great about local Sauvignon. It leaps from the glass with tropical guava and a real zip of lime. In the words of Mr Anderson, “Hot diggity dog, it tastes good!” Great on its own, it's tasty with chicken kebabs or spicy eastern dishes.

Cappa Stone Chardonnay

The luscious grapes used to produce Cappa Stone Chardonnay were harvested, basket pressed and fermented. This process led to the creation of a pale straw hued wine. The aromatic bouquet presents nectarine, pineapple, white peach and tropical fruit aromas. These fragrances are replicated on the creamy palate, where they are joined by oak undertones and elegant acidity. The finish is balanced and enticing. Drink this delicious white wine with fish pate, creamy vegetable soups, and Brie cheese to unveil its wonderful flavours.

White Duck Chardonnay Pinot Grigio

Many of you will remember Sam Trimboli from his days at Warburn Estate where, every vintage, he’d pick up literally hundreds of awards. He’s still on a winning streak, but now he’s renting space all for himself at a winery in Riverina, New South Wales. Sam makes there the mighty Black Duck, and his white version – the equally fruity and irresistible White Duck. Sam has been in the region for many years, so knows exactly where the best grapes are growing. In 2021, he selected when he wanted them picked too, cool fermenting and adding a touch of citrusy Pinot Grigio to the blend. This is the sort of wine you should never be short of, ready chilled in the fridge. Exuberant with bright melon fruit – serve solo or with a spicy noodle dish.
