Bimbadgen Ridge Shiraz Cabernet Merlot is a medium bodied wine that combines the firm fruity characters of Shiraz with the length and finish of Cabernet and soft fleshy Merlot.

A concentrated and complex wine with dark choclate, liquorice and spice aromas and flavours accentuated by nutty oak from barrel maturation.

2014 has been touted by many as the best vintage since 1965 and our flagship Shiraz, the Fenestella’ Shiraz, showcases this extraordinary vintage. A classic Hunter Valley Shiraz, this wine has a rich and complex palate of red and black fruits derived from maturation in French oak puncheons. Medium bodied yet intense, this Shiraz was approachable on release and will continue to reward with extended cellaring.

This Shiraz showcases why the Hunter does medium weight, savoury fruit reds better than most. Its a style you can enjoy now or even slightly chilled down in the warmer months. On the palate: A terrific core of ripe red fruit with supple tannins, creamy depth and complexity and lovely oak and spice integration.
