Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels Syrah, Hawkes Bay The lions share of Trinity Hills grapes comes from the Gimblett Gravels region, in the lee of Roys Hill. The gravelly soils were left behind by the Ngaruroro River as it changed course over time. This juicy and flavour-filled vintage was used to craft a marvellous Shiraz wine showing a bold violet-red hue. Lifted red berry and spice notes flow off the bouquet, while the smooth palate structure features rich dark berry and chocolate flavours. This wine is fit for consumption upon release or can be cellared for about 8 to 10 years. Five-spice lamb, tandoori lamb chops and grilled bison dishes taste wonderful with this elegant Shiraz varietal.

Displaying a deep magenta colour, this Bullnose Syrah gives off lifted fragrances of violets, allspice, berry fruit and dark star anise from its nose. The ripe and fruity palate contains flavours of cherry, espresso and raspberry that mesh harmoniously with the smooth and velvety tannins to produce a dazzling, fresh and easy drinking wine. Slow roasted BBQ pork, smoked seitan steaks and spicy Asian dishes are some great accompaniments to this mouth-watering Syrah.
