This vibrant NZ Pinot shows earthy forest floor notes and dark cherries on the nose. Richly textured on the palate the flavours have elements of wild berries mushroom and chocolate framed by quality French oak.

This wine, Freycinet's junior Pinot Noir, reveals liveliness and youthfulness in its colour, aroma and flavours. Similar winemaking techniques are utilized as for their renowned Freycinet Pinot Noir. Fully ripened fruit from their Louis vineyard site is fermented over a 7 to 8 day period in a rotary fermenter. A pure yeast culture is added and the ferment temperature is allowed to peak at 32 degrees. After gently extracting colour, flavour and tannins from the skins the wine is pressed and matured in French oak barriques (8% new) for 12 months prior to bottling.

42 Degrees South Pinot Noir has red cherry and blackcurrant aromas followed by mixed red berry flavours that linger elegantly and finish with delicate tannins and soft acid.

Dark cherry with a crimson hue. Dark aromatics with notes of ripe cherry, sage, dried bark and thyme emerging. Wonderful integration of ripe red fruits and velvety tannins across the palate. It has great density yet carries a very elegant feel as it flows towards the savoury dry finish. The Te Muna Road Vineyard is located some 7 kilometres outside of the Martinborough township. The vineyard consists of two distinct terraces, the higher comprising very old, stony clay infused soils perfect for Pinot Noir and the lower terrace of younger stony soils interleaved with limestone providing an excellent environment for Sauvignon Blanc. Craggy Range produce some of the finest Sauvignon Blanc to come out of New Zealand resulting in wines that have rich ripe fruit flavours. The Te Muna Road site produces wines of great depth length and character.

With lifted aromas of dark cherry and berry fruit with underlying notes of mocha and cinnamon giving way to a sumptuous palate of bramble and spice characters with considerable length.

Sandro Mosele one of the great artisans with Pinot Noir is responsible for this fine example. Complex, gamey black cherry characters are interwoven with toasty oak in a wine of superb texture.

From this eclectic bunch the grapes are hand-picked and fermented naturally before spending eight months in French oak. The result is a Pinot of class and structure; dark and brooding with a texture not dissimilar to silk.

Artemis Close Vine is bright strawberry red in colour, showing an intense and complex nose of ripe blueberry, raspberry, cherry, toffee apple, forest floor, cut straw, savoury and vanilla notes. The rich yet elegant wine has a cherry and raspberry palate, grainy tannin, fresh medium acidity with superb premium oak integration. The palate shows some dark berry nuances and secondary savoury characters. The finish of this Pinot Noir is elegant and long.
