These low-yielding, 30plus year-old Riesling vines are planted on the lean, rocky yellow podzolic soils and the cool climate perfectly accentuates the classic Riesling typicity.<br>Pale straw with a lime green tinge. This vineyard is known for its low-yielding, old vines and the classic characteristics they impart to the Riesling wine.<br>The Sorby Adams wine label honours John Couch Adams, an ancestor of Simon Sorby Adams, who mathematically proved Neptune's existence.

Over an ale or three a treasure map is drawn, its destination a parcel of unclaimed old vine Riesling. With shallow, mineral-rich soils as indicated by rocky outcrops and scattered “Fieldstones”, the Zieglers identified the Eden Valley as an ideal location to grow elegant Riesling. Aromatic with bright citrus and honeysuckle flavours, natural acidity and a crisp, dry finish.

Pewsey Vale Vineyard Prima Riesling exhibits the purity of style that is a distinct characteristic of every vintage of this wine. Very pale in colour with green hues, the aroma has a hint of the classic Pewsey Vale Riesling characters but is most redolent of white nectarines and lychees. The palate shows great length and finesses with a vibrancy of perfumed fruits such as guava and mandarin overlaid with a touch of white cherry, sorbet and clove. The balance of the wine is succulent and mouth-watering, inviting a second glass. This wine will cellar well, slowly developing flavour layers of fresh toast and spice.

The Heggies vineyard situated in the hills above the Barossa Valley produces tightly structured classic Rieslings which can be appreciated young or cellared to achieve richer, complex flavours.

Peter Lehmann, icon of the Barossa Valley, has been churning out award winning Rieslings like it's childs play recently. The Wigan Riesling with all its lifted aromatics of citrus and white flowers followed by a complex palate that lingers has again picked up award and award.

Heggies Botrytis Riesling is sourced from high quality Riesling vineyards high up in the Eden Valley. Slightly wet and humid conditions in 2011 allowed for the onset of Botrytis in the vineyard and an intensity of flavour that continues right through the palate.
