Lifted aromas of nashi pear, raspberry, red apple and white florals follow on to the palate, where they're balanced by a fine, supple texture and lingering minerality.

The Wither Hills Pinot Gris has lovely fruit and aromas of ripe white peach, citrus and quince. It is off-dry on the palate with some refreshing acidity and beautiful succulent mouth feel. Produced from some of the oldest Sauvignon Blanc vines in the heart of Marlborough, this excellent example shows expressive aromatics of gooseberry and passionfruit and the palate is refined and elegant.

Amongst the sea of quality Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that is flooding Australia, Seresin Sauvignon Blanc stands out as having that something extra: perhaps it is the wild yeast ferment; perhaps the partial barrel ferment; or perhaps it is the 5 per cent of Semillon in the blend. Whatever the secret, this wine has body and finesse that raises it above its Marlborough peers.

This exquisite white wine contains melon and pear characters, supported by ginger and quince notes. The full bodied and luxurious palate exhibits a harmonious balance between fruit weight, acidity and texture. The finish is dry and lengthy. This dazzling Pinot Gris pairs well with mushroom, poultry, seafood and creamy pasta.

Nose: subtle blend of pear, white peach, honeysuckle and lychee. Palate: gentle and soft mouth feel with medium intensity mid palate tending tropical which reflects the warm growing season. Low sugar, but a fruit- sweet balance point: the acidity is subtle and the wine dry. Expresses a fruit sweetness and generosity throughout the palate, starting out with hints of nectarine, peach and undertones of honey with a clean, dry, yet smooth finish. Winemaker’s Notes: Small parcels of Pinot Gris were fermented separately using a variety of yeasts, with fruit taken from a number of vineyard sites throughout Marlborough. Pressings were fermented in oak and kept separate from the free run which was tank fermented. We assembled the wine with the primary goal of balance given the subtle nature of Pinot Gris and the accentuation of primary clean fruit character, which is typically pears and light citrus. Winemaking Philosophy: all our growers are certified sustainable, with viticulturists bent on an organic and natural approach where possible. Dovetailing that nicely are our winemakers’ low intervention approach to their crafting of the grapes.

Aromatics of red apple, nectarine and flinty savoury elements. Intense, richly textured and supple palate with elements of stone fruit and ginger whilst finishing with vivid quartz like persistence.
