Parcels from the Awatere Valley and Wairau Valley together combine to create a wine brimming with varietal character, balance and elegance. The nose is lifted and fresh with notes of passion fruit and grapefruit. The sweet fruit characters on the palate and fresh acidity combine to create an expressive, classy Sauvignon Blanc. Beautiful with barbequed fresh seafood.

Atop the ridge, Beachwood fruit is removed from the coldest nights, and benefits from the slightly breezier summer days. This brings out the tropical, slightly minerally notes in the fruit, and herby aromatics. Colour: Button grass green/ pale yellow. Nose: Aromatic, herby, nettles and white peach. Palate: Exploding fruit, zesty and refreshing. It was a big crop from the outset, so we had the luxury of reducing yield and intensifying flavours. Great vineyard management.
