Rosemount Diamond Label Chardonnay
Rosemount has been apart of the Australian wine scene for over 145 years and their dedication to quality can been seen in their Diamond Label range including this delicious Chardonnay. The toasty nutty flavours of the oak perfectly complement the rich melon peach varietal characters of the grape in this full-flavoured Chardonnay.
Sisters Run Chardonnay
A true expression of Chardonnay grown at Lyndoch in the Barossa Valley in all its fruitful glory. Intense bouquet is pleasantly fruity with highlights of green pear and clingstone peach accented by the flowery notes of apple blossom against a genteel boisé background. The palate is a rush of citrus and white peach with fresh acidity. Clean, lemon-citrus and Pink Lady apples with a layer of minerality and viscosity. Textured stone fruit balanced with fresh, grainy acidity with a long crisp finish. 90 Points | James Halliday 2017 Vintage.
Temple Bruer Preservative Free Shiraz
Temple Bruer is one of the leading lights when it comes to Preservative Free wines. Joining the already outstanding Preservative Free Cabernet Merlot, the Shiraz has all the hallmarks of great Langhorne Creek Shiraz with a rich, velvet mouthfeel of red berries with a hint of coffee bean.
d'Arenberg Olive Grove Chardonnay
This McLaren Vale Chardonnay displays rich tropical fruit with subtle oak integration adding complexity. A trademark d'arenberg style, the overall balance indicates the potential to age well.
Marking Time Shiraz
Marking Time Shiraz is the product of patience, care and the excellent growing conditions of the Langhorne Creek wine region of South Australia, which is famous for blends of this style. An exuberant wine that's full of flavour.
Scarpantoni Chardonnay
An excellent food wine, it matches well with just about any foods you might match a dry white wine to, but fresh white seafood dishes (white fish, squid, prawns & crabs) are perhaps the best accompaniment to this wine.
Marauding Vintners Langhorne Creek Lady Chardonnay
For the Marauding Vintners, real wine is not a commodity, but an expression of people, place and time, where art and nature merge. They know the real deal is often found off the beaten track, and devote time to tracking down the genuine characters. Lady Chardonnay is quite the actress. Born, it's said, from a liaison between a French aristocrat and an uncultivated 'peasant'. She appears the world over in many guises, winning rave reviews in Burgundy, Champagne and select Aussie venues – appearing luscious and well-rounded where the sun shines most, lean and elegant in cooler climes. You'll adore the fresh, modern, beautifully balanced performance she gives here.
Silenus Reserve Black Label Langhorne Creek Chardonnay
Conditions for grape growing in Langhorne Creek are ideal thanks to the natural fertility of the floodplain soils, the ability of those soils to retain moisture from natural winter floods, and the moderation of the local climate by cooling evening breezes off nearby Lake Alexandrina and the Southern Ocean in summer. Fragrant honeydew melon, white peach, fleshy mango and pineapple, with lively acid on the back palate and just a touch of creamy oak. It’s a beautiful match to roast chicken with all the trimmings.
Hummingbird Langhorne Creek Verdelho
Take all the joy of a summer fruit salad, with the zip and zing of tropical fruit and a dash of sunshine, distil it into a wine and you will have the miracle that is Verdelho. A native of Portugal, this sumptuous grape has really made a home for itself here in Australia. It’s a wine you’ll be seeing a lot more of as it makes it way onto the wine lists of the country’s best restaurants. Love a fruit-forward Chardy without any of the oak? Partial to a tropical Sav Blanc that’s a little less grassy? This is your perfect middle-ground and will definitely hit the sweet spot.
